EMAIL QUESTIONS
How many email accounts do I get?
We offer three (3) email accounts to every customer that signs up for our service. Please contact the support department if you want an additional mailbox over the 3 that are allocated to each account.

What will my email look like?
Currently, your email address can look like [alias]@siscanada.ca or [alias]@atg.net , where [alias] can be any set of characters of your choosing that is not already being used.

Do you offer WebMail service?
Yes! You can check your mail online by clicking the webmail icon at the top of our website or by clicking here.

Will I be able to use programs such as Outlook Express?
Yes. You will still be able to use your other email accounts when connected to sis.net. You can use any of the popular webmail interfaces such as hotmail and if configured, can even use any other domain using a program like outlook express. You will however have to change your outgoing mail server.

Will I still be able to use my other email accounts?
Yes. You will still be able to use your other email accounts when connected to sis.net. You can use any of the popular webmail interfaces such as hotmail and if configured, can even use any other domain using a program like outlook express. You will however have to change your outgoing mail server to "rsmtp.siscanada.ca".

I get a content rejected message when I send, what does that mean?
The mail you sent more than likely contains an attachment with a file extension that viruses are often transmittted in. We recommend zipping up the attachment and then sending it. If you do not have a zip file, you can change the extension of the file and then write instructions to the recipient on how to open it.

How long do you keep messages on the server?
We keep messages on the server for only 60 days. After 60 days, old messages will be deleted. Mailboxes that are not checked in a 180 day period are also subject to a possible cancellation.
